Thirty-seven University of Denver students are, according to this story, filling out questionnaires today to help health officials figure out why they suddenly got sick Sunday night and early Monday morning.
Twenty-one of the students went to Porter Adventist Hospital with severe cramping and dehydration. Most were treated and released, but one remains at the hospital.
All 37 live in Centennial Halls, a dormitory, which leads officials to suspect they either all ate something at a dining hall that made them sick, or a fast-moving virus sickened them in the close quarters of communal living.
Denver Health inspected Centennial Hall’s dining room on Monday, found nothing troublesome and gave its OK for the facility to continue operating.
