Mbeki meets Mugabe before vote crisis summit
April 12, 2008 – 2:19 pmSouth African President Thabo Mbeki, above left, has arrived in Zimbabwe for talks with President Robert Mugabe, above right,a main opposition party spokesman has told CNN, as the post-vote deadlock continues. Mbeki stopped in Harare en route to a summit in Zambia about the crisis that Mugabe has refused to attend.
