No.
Lead paint continues to be a problem. By now you’re familiar with lead paint on toys made in China. I brushed off the first article I saw as just another incident in a universe of anomalies. But now I see something every few days about lead paint in toys from China.
Part of it, I’m sure, is increased scrutiny of all Chinese products due to the toothpaste thing, and maybe there’s some trade related hardball going on too. But the paint is there, and it shouldn’t be. It’s a modern, safe world in many ways, but there still are (and always will be) unscrupulous or merely ignorant people out to make the quickest buck.
