Kwik Trip owns and operates 330 convenience stores under the Kwik Trip and Kwik Star banner in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa, employing over 8,000 people. The Kwik Trip “campus” includes a full service Bakery Operation, a Dairy Plant using the Nature’s Touch brand name, a state-of- the art Commissary (2007), a fully automated Ice Plant (2008), and a new Water Plant that will be completed later this year.
Kwik Trip, Inc. Operation facilities enhance the benefits of vertical-integration, designed to improve control over the production, warehousing, and distribution of Kwik Trip, Inc. branded products throughout its convenience store chain.
“Marshfield Clinic’s lab was chosen to help us conduct food safety testing for Kwik Trip because of their experience in the food safety industry,” said Don Zietlow, president of Kwik Trip stores.
