The North American Meat Processors Association, National Meat
Association and American Association of Meat Processors team up to
deliver a workshop on controlling Listeria monocytogenes in Ready-
to-Eat meat and poultry processing environment targeted for small
processors. This workshop will focus on the technologies and
information that are most important for your business.
The information will help processors improve their Listeria control
programs by providing an update on the latest advances in
sanitation, equipment design and process flow - inexpensive and
easily incorporated technologies that will help minimize the risk
of Listeria contamination of RTE meat and poultry products..
The one day workshop is scheduled for April 23, 2008 from 8:00 AM
to 5:00 PM and offered by food safety experts from the University
of Nebraska and Colorado State University.
The workshop will focus on the latest Listeria control methods and
methods to improve current system or move up to the next
