Olympic chief ’saddened’ by protests
April 10, 2008 – 7:54 amPresident of the International Olympic Committee Jacques Rogge said Thursday the torch relay in San Francisco went well compared with the chaotic scenes in London and Paris, but that he was “saddened” by the protests.
