IRELAND: Four enforcement orders served on food businesses in March - (Food Safety Authority of Ireland)

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) today stated that four Enforcement Orders were served on food businesses during the month of March for breaches in food safety legislation pursuant to the FSAI Act, 1998. Closure Orders were served by environmental health officers (EHOs) in the HSE Dublin North Eastern Region on Metzo Diner, Navan Road, Castleknock, Dublin 15 and on Madison Food Stall, Outside 59 Lower Dorset Street, Dublin 1.
An Improvement Order was obtained by EHOs in the Dublin Mid Leinster Region on Halal Meats, 2 Grantham Street, Dublin 2. A Prohibition Order was also served by EHOs in the HSE Western Region on Campbells Butchers, Allingham Road, Ballyshannon, Donegal.
