Hundreds of students in Lafayette have, according to this story, been exposed to hepatitis A after an employee was diagnosed.
Principal Cindy Duhon was quoted as saying, “I just want parents to know that we are doing everything possible, taking every precaution that’s given to us by the department of education to ensure the safety of our faculty and our students.”
