NEW HAMPSHIRE: ‘Boil order’ remains for hundreds - (The Concord Monitor)

Nearly a month after E. coli was discovered in their trailer park’s well, 300 Allenstown residents are, according to this story, still boiling, bleaching or buying the water that they drink - and state regulators say it could be a few more weeks before the problem is solved.
In early March, routine testing at Catamount Hill (formerly Bear Brook Villa) showed contamination in several water samples. Since then, the residents’ cooperative that owns the park has worked with the state to clean the well, but the water remains unsafe.
The state warning, commonly called a “boil order,” has added extra steps to tooth-brushing, cooking and other daily tasks, but most residents seemed to take it in stride.
