FLORIDA: Officials investigating water contamination claim at The Country Club at Deer Run - (Orlando Sentinel)

The Occupational Health and Safety Administration and Florida’s Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services are, according to this story, looking into a complaint that The Country Club at Deer Run in Casselberry allowed hazardous cross-contamination of drinking water.
Former Deer Run employee Jason Karroll was cited as saying he filed complaints after being fired for taking photos that he says show Deer Run allowed pesticides, fungicides and a common weed killer to contaminate water coolers for golfers. Karroll worked at Deer Run for eight months.
Gregory Hofstetter, chief operating officer of the Golf Group, which owns Deer Run and five other local courses, was cited as saying the allegations are untrue, and that Deer Run mixes chemicals about a half-mile from where they fill water coolers, adding, “There is no validity to this argument whatsoever. This is about a disgruntled employee who was terminated for cause making allegations that never occurred.”
