Abbas suspends peace talks with Israel

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said Sunday he was suspending peace talks with Israel, while Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert vowed to press on with the deadly military operations against militants who have been launching increasingly powerful rockets into southern Israel.
