BRUNEI: Call for food safety in school canteens - (Borneo Bulletin)
February 14, 2008 – 9:29 pmCanteen operators attended a meeting chaired by the head of the Feeding Scheme of the Ministry of Education, Hj Bujang bin Jumat, who reminded canteen operators to be responsible that foods served to schoolchildren are safe and to prevent food poisoning incidents.
Twenty three canteen operators from colleges, schools and hostels also listened to a talk delivered by the Nutrition Services Unit of the Ministry of Health.
School principals, headmasters and school wardens also attended.
Cikgu Hj Muhammad bin Hj Lamat led the reading of the surah Al-Fatihah and doa selamat.
