WASHINGTON: Public meeting to address agenda items for codex committee on methods of analysis and sampling - (USDA)
February 14, 2008 – 9:30 pmThe Office of the Under Secretary for Food Safety, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the Department of Health and Human Services today announced a public meeting to provide information and receive comments on agenda items and draft U.S. positions that will be discussed at the 29th Session of the Codex Committee on Methods of Analysis and Sampling (CCMAS), to be held in Budapest, Hungary, March 10 - 14, 2008.
The public meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, from 2 to 3 p.m., in Room 1A001, Harvey Wiley Federal Building, 5100 Paint Branch Parkway, College Park, Md. Attendees must pre-register and present photo identification at the door. To pre-register, please send your name, organization, mailing address, phone number and e-mail address to Gregory.Diachenko@fda.hhs.gov by Feb. 25, 2008.
