WALES: E.coli probe date - (Rhymney Valley Express)
February 7, 2008 – 6:20 pmA six-week public inquiry into the E.coli outbreak that killed five-year-old Mason Jones will begin next week.
Masons mother Sharon Mills will be one of those giving evidence when the inquiry, set up by the Welsh Assembly, starts next Tuesday.
The inquiry is in response to the outbreak in September 2005 that affected more than 150 people and claimed the life of the Deri Primary School pupil.
Chaired by Professor Hugh Pennington at Crickhowell House on Pierhead Street in Cardiff Bay, members of the public will be seated on a first-come first-served basis and a full transcript of each days proceedings will be published on the website at www.ecoliinquirywales.org
