UK: Rank Hovis recalls flour - (Food Standards Agency)
February 4, 2008 – 4:14 pmRank Hovis has recalled some of its Elephant Atta, Fassal and Goldcrest flour because the products might contain small metal pieces. The Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.
Only packs displaying lot codes ending with the letter H and starting with the first three digits 025, 026, 027, 028, 029, 030 or 031 are affected. The products recalled are:
* Elephant Atta White 10kg and 25kg
* Elephant Atta Brown 25kg
* Elephant Atta Med H 10kg, 12.5kg and 25kg
* Elephant Atta Wholemeal 10kg and 25kg
* Fassal Chapatti Light 25kg
* Goldcrest SP 16kg
No other Rank Hovis Solent Mills Ltd products or batch codes are known to be affected.
The company has recalled the affected products. Notices will appear in the press Daily Junj, Garavi Gujarat, Des Pardes and Eastern Eye explaining why the products have been recalled and the actions customers should take it they […]
