WASHINGTON: Coconut-flavored popsicles recalled after tests find Listeria - (KIROtv.com)
January 29, 2008 – 5:28 pmOlympia, Wash. — Ca Rem #1 Ice Cream, SeaTac, is, according to this story, voluntarily recalling its coconut-flavored popsicles. The non-dairy frozen dessert may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
The recall of the popsicles was initiated after routine sampling and analysis by Washington State Department of Agriculture revealed the presence of Listeria.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this product.
