UK: Agency incident strategy workshop - (Food Standards Agency)

January 18, 2008 – 4:08 pm

Nearly sixty food safety experts from across the UK have contributed to the drafting of an incident prevention strategy in an Agency workshop.
The aim of the workshop was to develop an incident prevention strategy and action plan that all stakeholders can sign up to and work in partnership to deliver. Experts from the food industry, Government and advisory bodies, and consumer organisations contributed their ideas on how best to prevent food incidents.
Feedback from the workshop will be used to refine the current drafts of the strategy and action plan before these go to the FSA Board meeting in March. Draft versions of these documents will then be published on this website for wider consultation.
