INDIA: 98 school children fall ill after taking mid-day meals - (DNA India)
December 27, 2007 – 6:27 pmKUMBAKONAM (TN) — Ninety eight school children were admitted to the Government hospital here on Thursday for treatment of suspected food poisoning after they had the mid-day meals at the school.
The children–48 boys and 50 girls– from Oothukadu government middle school, were rushed to the hospital after they complained of nausea and vomiting.
They were stated to be out of danger, hospital sources said.
