December 21, 2007 – 5:44 pmTRS Wholesale Co. Limited has recalled two batches of its Sesame Seeds Hulled product, due to the presence of salmonella. The Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.

The product being recalled is:
* TRS Sesame Seeds Hulled 100g
Batch Code: L6313 Best before end: November 2008
Batch Code: L6181 Best before end: February 2008
No other TRS Wholesale Co. Limited products or batch codes are known to be affected.
TRS Wholesale has recalled the affected batches from sale. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in its stores. These notices will advise customers of the recall and that if they have already bought the affected product, they can return it to the store for a full refund.
