ENGLAND: Salmonella outbreak at school - (Press Association)

An investigation has been launched in Cumbria after three pupils from Whitehaven’s St Benedict’s School were struck with salmonella food poisoning.
Health officers are investigating the source of the outbreak and whether there is a link between the cases.
The school is co-operating with the council and tests to determine the strain and cause may take up to a week.
