Al Qaeda, Taliban link suspected

U.S. officials suspect a Taliban leader, Baitullah Mehsud, was behind the plot to assassinate former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, a senior official said — a suspicion also shared by the Pakistani Interior Ministry.
