Water purification bag launches - (Outdoors Magic)

Pure Hydration has launched the Thirst Aid Bag a water-purification bag designed primarily for emergency use in disaster zones, but also suitable for use by travellers and trekkers.
The bag is about the same size as a hot water bottle and can convert contaminated water into pure, drinkable water with the minimum of hassle and without any moving parts using the same filtering technology as the company’s Aquapure Traveller.
The bag kills viruses and bacteria as well as removing pathogens such as cryptosporidium and giardia. It also removes dirt, sediment, chemicals, bad tastes and odours.
Pure Hydratiion says that the filter is good for around 350 litres of water making it a very effective emergency water purification solution. It also uses a tough ‘armour weave material’ for durability, which should make the bag attractive to anyone unsure of the robustness of the standard plastic Aquapure Traveller.
