Young’s has recalled a batch of its King Prawn Mediterranean Skewers (200g) because the use-by date appears as 17 December 07 and not 17 November 07. The product is only sold through Waitrose supermarkets. The Food Standards Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.
Waitrose has removed the affected product from shelves and displayed point-of-sale notices in all stores. The notice tells the public the reason for the recall and advises consumers not to eat the product after 17 November 2007 but to return it to the store for a full refund.
