MICHIGAN: School experiences likely norovirus outbreak - (Lansing State Journal)
November 4, 2007 – 7:04 pmEATON RAPIDS–Eaton Rapids Public Schools staff and teachers continued efforts to clean and disinfect Northwestern Elementary School and district school busses last week following an outbreak of an illness that Health Department officials say is consistent with a norovirus.
Absenteeism remained high at district schools Oct. 29 after peaking Oct. 26, when about 25 percent of Northwestern’s 363 students were absent.
Most students suffered symptoms consistent with a norovirus, including vomiting and diarrhea.
