NEW ZEALAND: Norovirus found in shellfish - (TVNZ)
November 2, 2007 – 7:25 pmHealth officials are warning Christchurch residents not to collect or eat shellfish because of the norovirus threat and warning signs have been put up along beaches.
The stomach bug has locked down some wards at two hospitals in the city. It is believed an accidental sewage overflow may have spread the virus.
