NEW YORK: School worker has infection - (Poughkeepsie Journal)

October 27, 2007 – 6:10 pm

HYDE PARK - An food service worker at Haviland Middle School has, according to this story, been diagnosed with a drug-resistant staph infection.
Dr. Michael Caldwell, county health commissioner, was quoted as saying, “They’ve done a great job with the worker and making sure the students and community are well informed,” adding that since the cafeteria worker was wearing gloves there was little danger of staff or students being infected.
