ILLINOIS: Danville couple gets sick as chicken pot pie recall is issued - (WCIA-3)

The Davis family from Danville, Illnois, was cited as eating pot pies late last week but they’re only now starting to feel better from their illness.
Frances Davis was quoted as saying, “I had my head on this table and I couldn’t move it hurt so bad. It felt like someone grabbed my stomach and was trying to pull it out. I couldn’t breathe, I couldn’t move.”
The Davis’s said they both ate those same pot pies before but never got sick. It wasn’t until one night when they were watching the news when they realized why they were feeling so bad.
“I saw the recall on the banquet pot pies and we had just got a bunch of them the end of last month.” Says James Davis
In the end Frances Davis feels like she deserves more from her food and the people that make it.
