FLORIDA: West Palm not ready to lift boil-water order in entire city: But part of service area may have restriction lifted today - (South Florida Sun-Sentinel)

October 3, 2007 – 5:19 pm

West Palm Beach — The city on Tuesday extended boil-water orders beyond Wednesday to prevent sickness from fecal coliform and E. coli bacteria.
If water at the south end of the city tests negative for bacteria this morning, the Health Department likely will lift the current boil-water restriction for that area and for the towns of Palm Beach and South Palm Beach.
But the rest of the city still will be restricted until health officials have two straight days of clean tests.
