UK: Boy battling rare form of E. coli - (wymtnews.com)
October 1, 2007 – 8:12 pmA three year-old Nicholas County boy fights for his life; battling a rare but serious form of e-coli that is attacking his internal organs and blood, causing his kidneys to malfunction.
Doctors are fearful the kidneys may fail completely.
His mother fears he may have gotten e.coli from eating salad.
Right now it’s not clear if tainted lettuce is indeed the cause of the little boy’s sickness.
