Protesters defiant amid envoy’s visit
September 30, 2007 – 5:11 amAs U.N. envoy to Myanmar Ibrahim Gambari arrived Saturday for talks with senior government officials to reach a peaceful resolution, pro-democracy demonstrators (seen above on Thursday) defied soldiers with fighting words and symbols, a CNN source said.
