FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Two middle school students were arrested for allegedly putting a vomit-inducing drug in their art teacher’s coffee, say police in Federal Way, Wash.
The two suspects at Sequoyah Middle School were expelled and arrested Monday after their teacher fell seriously ill and was hospitalized, reported KOMO-TV in Seattle.
The students, who were seen near the teacher’s desk shortly before she took a sip of her coffee, allegedly confessed to adding the vomit-inducing syrup Ipecac to the coffee, said Diane Turner, a school spokeswoman.
