Re “The Raw Milk Factor,” [March 2]. My parents were ahead of their time in supporting Alta Dena Dairy. I enjoyed their raw milk growing up. I was breast-fed, Alta Dena-fed and still enjoy raw milk products.
Raw milk has been here for centuries. Its production simply requires a conscientious approach. Don’t be so quick to think you’ll get the same nutritional value from zapping or supplementing.

The article essentially outlined the fact there are good bacteria present in raw milk but none in pasteurized milk, and people disagree on whether they are effective.
