North Dakota health officials say four salmonella victims in the state reported eating peanut butter before they got sick.
A Virginia company has issued a nationwide peanut butter recall after a salmonella outbreak affecting more than 400 people around the country. The company said the peanut butter is sold under the brand name Parnell’s Pride and by the King Nut Co. as King Nut.
In North Dakota, state health officials reported 10 cases of salmonella from last Nov. 21 through Dec. 16, linked to the outbreak.
