UK: Cadbury recalls thousands of chocolate bars after nut allergy - (The Straits Times)
September 14, 2007 – 6:24 pmLondon — Cadbury has recalled thousands of chocolate bars in Britain after it discovered the nut allergy labels were missing, the company said on Friday.
A printing error led to the omission of a message warning consumers that Dairy Milk Double Choc packs could contain traces of nuts, the company said in a statement.
Nut allergy sufferers should not eat the recalled bars and should contact the company for a refund, Cadbury said. It added that the bars were safe for people who did not suffer from nut allergies.
