India: Flood kills scores, ruins 225,000 homes
August 27, 2008 – 4:21 pmMassive flooding has killed at least 55 people in India since the Kosi River burst through an embankment more than a week ago, swallowing villages and destroying about 225,000 homes, officials and the Press Trust of India said Wednesday.
