3 more sick with E. coli in SE NEBRASKA - (The Associated Press)

July 29, 2008 – 5:29 pm

OMAHA, Neb. — A York health official says three more people have tested positive for E. coli infection, and a community event may be to blame.
Vicki Duey of the Four Corners Health Department says she’s looking at whether the food served at a public event held earlier this month may have sickened people. She declined to give specific information about the event or where it took place.
Her department covers Butler, Polk, Seward and York counties.
So far, five people have tested positive for E. coli infections. Duey’s department was alerted to the first cases on July 22.
