Pakistan launches Taliban offensive
June 28, 2008 – 3:59 pmPakistan’s army said it launched a tough offensive on Saturday against militants in the country’s tribal region — the biggest military push against militants in Pakistan’s northwestern tribal region since the country’s new civilian government took power in March.
