Gaza: A year under Hamas
June 14, 2008 – 9:56 pmSince Hamas defeated Fatah on June 14, 2007, Gaza has been quieter and safer. No longer do you worry about being kidnapped; gunbattles are much less common. However, life in Gaza, never easy, in the last year has become a grinding daily struggle to make ends meet as Israel has tightened its siege.
