Report: Al-Maliki calms Iranian fears
June 8, 2008 – 2:49 pmIraq’s Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki on Sunday tried to calm Iranian fears over a U.S.-Iraq security pact, saying Iraq will not become a launching pad for an attack on its neighbor, according to Iranian media.
