UK: Primula cheese spread recalled - (Food Standards Agency)

Kavli Ltd has recalled its own brand Primula Cheese Spread with Ham 150g (tube), due to possible presence of small pieces of plastic in the product within the ham ingredient. Mixed selection packs (sold through Cash & Carry) containing this product have also been recalled.The Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.
The products being recalled are:
* Primula Cheese Spread With Ham
* 150g tube
* Best before: 19 November 2008
* Primula Cheese Mixed Case (sold only through Cash & Carry)
* 150g tube (4×6)
* Best before: 4 November 2008
No other Kavli Ltd products are known to be affected.
Kavli Ltd has undertaken a full product recall and issued point-of-sale notices to their customers for display in stores. These notices will advise customers about the recall and the actions they can take if they have purchased either of the affected products.
